InVision 5000 Color and Dimension System

Compac's InVision 5000 system provides detailed, accurate color, size and shape sorting for produce. Compac InVision 5000 captures multiple images of each fruit at standard production speeds of up to 15 fruit per second.

InVision 5000 is unique because:

• Software is easy to use with advanced features if you need them
• Multiple images (up to 25) are captured of each fruit for improved accuracy
• Handles dark and light fruit types automatically
• Simple "click and learn" intelligent setup

InVision 5000 provides the following features:

GRADING

• Color - Up to 16 user defined colors can be graded
• Hue - Average color of the fruit (green to red for tomatoes, yellow shades for lemons, etc)
• Shape - Elongation, flatness and symmetry
• Diameter to within +/- 1mm accuracy
• Volume (Oranges and other fruits) with 2mls standard deviation
• Detects bridging fruit (pieces incorrectly located in carriers) and doubled fruit (two pieces of fruit in one carrier) if required

IMAGING

• Captures up to 25 images for an individual piece of fruit
• Computer control of the camera for color, brightness and area view settings
• Automated camera control for correcting light changes
