SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (Onehunga based)
We have a vacancy within our Vision team based in Onehunga which requires you to develop real time image processing applications for the purpose of produce grading. You will be working with a team of highly skilled developers, designing new applications as well as making improvements to a complex software system. Your knowledge in agile methodology would be beneficial.
If you are a self motivated programmer, a team player with a positive attitude and you have a passion for learning advanced image processing technology then this position is ideal for you.
Key responsibilities include:

Working with the Vision team developing InVision software

Helping to research and apply leading edge vision processing technologies

Developing electronic designs of new embedded hardware systems

Improving our development processes
Our ideal candidate must have:
- An academic background in Computer Science or Robotics/Electronic Engineering
- Sound research and analytical skills
- 3 years of software development capability in C++ for the windows platform
- Strong communication skills - the ability to communicate with internal and external customers on engineering and technological concepts
- A mathematical background
- User interface development and visual studio experience
- The ability to travel nationally and internationally - approx. 10% of your time
